Welcome to the Kim Chapman Swimming School.
Kim Chapman qualified as an Advanced Teacher over 30 years ago
after retiring from competitive swimming. In November 2002 Kim
received an award from the A.S.A. for Swimming Teacher of the
Year.
The swimming school was set up in April 1996, with approximately
100 client's. Since then the school has developed and now offers
swimming lessons for children six days a week in Basingstoke and
Chineham. It has over 1000 client's participating in the lesson
programme each week.
The 'swimming teaching team' is a mixture
of fully qualified teachers who have a vast amount of experience
in teaching swimming.
In 2004 the swimming school achieved Aquamark Premier Status.
Aquamark is a quality standard developed and assessed by the Amateur
Swimming Association, the National Governing Body for Swimming
in England. Aquamark represents recognition of high quality in
swimming programme provision.
