Courses normally run for 12 weeks during the term time. All our teachers are ASA qualified and CRB checked. They regularly attend seminars and conferences to keep their teaching skills up to date.
WE GUARANTEE YOUR SPACE TERMLY
Enrolment for the following term will take place for one week only, approximately two weeks before the end of the current course, during your child’s/children’s lesson. At the end of enrolment week should you have not reserved your space it will be presumed it is no longer required and offered to existing or new client’s. Fees are paid termly in advance and are inclusive of VAT.
ADULT AND CHILD
These are water confidence classes for babies/toddlers from 4 months plus, in a warm, safe and friendly environment, with qualified ASA. teachers accompanying both you and your child in the water. The classes are fun and lively using a mixture of toys, nursery rhymes and games which all help in your child’s development.
PRE-SCHOOL LESSONS
For children aged from 3 years. Your child is accompanied in the water by a qualified ASA teacher, whilst you watch from the poolside. The lessons are structured with the aid of toys, games and songs.
BEGINNER
For children who are in full time education and who cannot swim without the use of buoyancy aids. Water Assistants accompany your child to give confidence and help the child/teacher. Aims: Improve confidence. Introduce front and back paddle.
INTERMEDIATE
For children who can swim 5 metres on front and back without the use of aids. Water Assistants accompany your child to give confidence and help the child/teacher. Aims: Improve confidence. Introduce front and back paddle.
STROKE DEVELOPMENT 1
For children who can swim 5 metres on both their front and back. Introduction of all strokes. Water Assistants accompany your child to give confidence and help the child/teacher. Aims: Improve confidence. Develop strokes to front and back crawl and introduce breaststroke.
STROKE DEVELOPMENT 2
For children who can swim good backstroke, front crawl and breaststroke. Aims: Swim 10 metres to develop stamina and improve all strokes.
No more than 6 in Beginner lessons and 8 in Intermediate up to SD2.
