School Swimming

Kim Chapman Swimming School is the first swimming school in the country to gain the ASA Swim 21 School Swimming Accreditation.

Swimming is a vital skill for any child and is the only sport a child will learn in school that could save their life.

The quality of teaching these pupils receive during their school swimming lessons is key to their learning experience. Swim 21 School Swimming Accreditation is the Amateur Swimming Associations ‘quality mark’ for organisations running a school swimming programme.

A Swim 21 accredited programme offers the best way to learn to swim. Specifically it’s about ensuring the programme is delivering quality lessons run by fully qualified teachers in a safe and appropriate environment.

We have a number of primary schools in the Basingstoke and surrounding areas already taking part in our high quality swimming programme. Our lessons are held at QM Sports Centre, Queen Mary’s College and because of their connection with the local schools they charge a reduced pool hire rate.

Prior to booking we can visit your school to discuss your requirements to ensure that your children get the most out of their lessons.

We can also arrange for our teachers to attend your school before their first lesson to talk to the children about what to expect from their swimming lessons and a discussion about health and safety in and around a swimming pool.

If you wish to receive the same high quality lessons that our current schools have been receiving then please do not hesitate to contact us.
